As a parent when it comes to our kids’ happiness, we always make it a point that we
provide the best things in life for them. Moreover, celebrating one of your kid’s birthday
does not have to be boring when it comes to the foods you serve.
Make this year an extra-special one by preparing food upgrades for the kids and grown-up
guests!
Here are the food upgrades you can do for a birthday:
1. Hotdog
Instead of serving plain hotdog on a stick or hotdog with marshmallow, it’s best to make a
corn dog! Whereas, encasing those hotdogs in a corn muffin, kids will feel fuller and
satisfied.
2. Barbecue
When grilling barbecue with plain soy sauce, you can add soda marinade in it. Using a
lemon-lime soda, it helps to create a sweet, flavorful and sticky taste. Serve it with mustard,
ketchup and mayo as dipping sauces.
3. Spaghetti
Be money wise, instead of ordering Jollibee spaghetti for the kids and guests, you just have
to add ¼ cup of condensed milk. Impress the kids, by adding a condensed milk to the
ingredients will give you the similar taste of Jollibee spaghetti.
4. No Bake Mango Cheesecake
Gone are the days where the only cake you can have on special occasions is bought at the
mall. With the technology influence, cooking and baking are now easy by watching a
YouTube video or subscribing to any chef’s website to learn.

Your kid will definitely appreciate his birthday cake if you personally prepare no bake
mango cheesecake. Ingredients are as follows:

  • ¼ cup melted salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¾ cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1.8 ounce bar cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract & ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons water & 1 ½ teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1 95-gram pack gulaman, mango flavored.

Freeze the cheesecake overnight or at least 2 hours before you apply the hot gulaman to
avoid melting the layers.
